The mill is constructed from one piece of cast iron for maximum strength and rigidity. The roller length of 150mm, significantly wider than in most mills, gives extra space for a large flat rolling area, as well as 11 wire grooves. Each roller is specially induction hardened to 64 RC. The maximum thickness for flat rolling is 6mm, and the 11 square wire grooves range from 8mm to 1mm.
